Base Torres Viewpoint Excursion

We’ll depart from Puerto Natales in our private transportation, equipped with trekking poles and certified guides. After approximately 2 hours of travel, we’ll arrive at Hotel Las Torres, where our excursion begins.
Our guide will provide a safety briefing before we start hiking along the trail toward an old bridge crossing the Asencio River. After a couple of hours of walking, we’ll reach El Chileno Campground, where we’ll regroup and admire a spectacular lenga forest. Along the way, we’ll cross several streams cascading from Mount Almirante Nieto.
Continuing our hike, the trail gradually becomes steeper as we ascend to the viewpoint at 870 meters (2,854 ft) above sea level. We’ll arrive at the Base of the Towers viewpoint, where breathtaking views of the iconic towers await us. Here, we’ll take time to rest, have lunch, and recharge our energy.
If weather conditions permit, we’ll enjoy one of the world’s most beautiful and renowned landscapes. Then, we’ll begin the descent along the same trail to return to our van, which will be waiting at the trailhead where our hike ends. Afterwards, we’ll head back to Puerto Natales.
