Estancia Olga Teresa is located in the heart of a vast rural district called Río Verde, 78 km (48 miles) northwest of the city of Punta Arenas, in the Magallanes and Chilean Antarctic Region.
This property is a typical ranch of Chilean Patagonia, where visitors can experience the traditional Magellanic livestock culture and enjoy a unique and welcoming natural environment. The ranch was purchased in 1922 by Don Fermín Roca Berjoan, a French pioneer, who named it after his two daughters, Olga and Teresa. Today, the estancia is owned by his grandson Rodolfo Concha Roca, along with his wife Yvonne Paeile Jordán and their four children: Rodolfo Luis, Lorena, Cristián, and Rodrigo.
Over time, Estancia Olga Teresa has become a place of great charm, known for the natural beauty of its surroundings, the quality of its animals and products, and the warm hospitality its owners always offer to visitors. Since 2000, the family has added agritourism to complement their livestock activities. The entire family and their permanent staff participate in demonstrations of sheepdog herding and sheep shearing, culminating with a traditional spit-roasted lamb barbecue.
These activities can be complemented with a visit to a condor colony located on a hill within the property, which is easily accessible by land.
