Perito Moreno Glacier

Full-day excursion departing from Puerto Natales around 7 AM and returning to the hotel around 10 PM.
After crossing the border checkpoints at Cerro Castillo and Cancha Carrera, the route passes through the vast Argentine Patagonian steppe toward the beautiful tourist town of El Calafate, approximately 270 km (168 miles) from Puerto Natales. Along the way, you may spot local wildlife such as guanacos and rheas, and admire views of Lake Argentino and the Santa Cruz River as it flows toward the Atlantic Ocean.
After a brief stop with free time in El Calafate, the journey continues for 80 km (50 miles) to Los Glaciares National Park, our final destination.
The Perito Moreno Glacier offers a spectacular display of sights and sounds, with frequent small ice calvings, making it very likely to witness this unique natural phenomenon. The glacier’s uniqueness lies not only in its 30 km (19 miles) length and easy access but also in the fact that it is one of the few glaciers worldwide that is still advancing, while most glaciers are retreating.
The walkways, viewing platforms, and balconies installed in the national park allow visitors—including seniors and those with limited mobility—to safely get close to Perito Moreno. The excursion concludes with the return to Puerto Natales along the same route.
