Glaciar Grey Navigation

The excursion begins with passenger pickup from their accommodation and direct transfer to Hotel Lago Grey for check-in at the reception, where registration is required at least one hour before departure.
After this, there is a transfer to the bridge over the Pingo River, followed by a short hike through the forest to reach the shore of Lake Grey, where the walk continues to the catamaran. Once on board, after about an hour of sailing through the milky waters among the icebergs, the vessel stops in front of the giant glacier Grey. This glacier is one of the largest in the area and is part of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, one of the largest freshwater reserves in the world. Guests remain in front of the glacier, admiring its deep blue color and crevices. The return trip follows the same route.
This navigation is one of the must-do excursions during your visit to Torres del Paine National Park. It takes place aboard the vessel "Grey III" and offers an unparalleled landscape of floating icebergs, lush vegetation, and towering mountains.

Physical fitness requirements: Small 30-minute walk to board the catamarán.
Includes: A pisco sour or beverage onboard, accompanied by a guide during the navigation.
Notes: Only during the months when the Pingo River’s flow increases is it possible to cross to the catamaran by a boat provided by the hotel, avoiding the hike.
*The shuttle boat is not used during the low season (May - September). In high season (October - April), its operation depends on weather conditions and is confirmed only at check-in.

For the 1st, 2nd, and 4th sailings:
Departing from Grey Beach, there is a stop after about 45 minutes at Refugio Grey, only to drop off or pick up passengers before continuing the trip to the glacier. This sailing DOES NOT include a visit to the glacier.
The route of the 3rd sailing goes first to the glacier and then to Refugio Grey. Afterwards, it heads back to Grey Beach (approximately 1 hour). Then, passengers must walk along the beach for 30 to 45 minutes (3 km / 1.8 mi) to reach the hotel.

[ONE WAY OPTION: REFUGE → HOTEL]
For the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd sailings:
Boarding at Refugio Grey, with an approximate duration of 2 hours, the trip visits Grey Glacier and then ends at the Playa Grey dock.
This sailing is especially intended for passengers finishing one of the hikes or activities inside the national park. This sailing INCLUDES a visit to Grey Glacier.
The route of the 3rd sailing goes first to the glacier and then to Refugio Grey. This sailing DOES NOT INCLUDE a visit to Grey Glacier.
Afterwards, it heads to Playa Grey (approximately 1 hour). Then, passengers must walk along the beach for 30 to 45 minutes (3 km / 1.8 mi) to reach the hotel
